01 / SERVICE OVERVIEW

Policies & Compliance Portal (2 in 1)
Documents and ongoing support, together.

Practical policies. A portal to keep them working.

Policies & Compliance Portal (2 in 1) combines service-specific documents with access to your compliance library. Documents must match what your team actually does; a subscription does not replace implementation or oversight.

02 / REGULATORY CONTEXT

Know what matters.
Prepare with purpose.

What good policies need

  1. Identify the business, document owner, creation date and review date.
  2. Keep documents complete, relevant to your service and consistent with each other.
  3. Use current legal and guidance references with working links.
  4. Make documents accessible to the people who need them, including staff and service users where relevant.
  5. Exclude personal information about service users or the public from application documents.

More than a folder of documents

CQC expects policies to describe your service and be consistent with how it runs. Governance also requires you to monitor quality, act on risks and keep reliable records. Our portal supports access to the agreed library and updates; your managers still need to implement the documents, brief staff and review practice.

Consultancy supports your responsibilities; it does not transfer them.

03 / OUR SOLUTION & SERVICE

Your requirements.
A practical plan of support.

01 / AGREED SUPPORT

Tailored policy documents

Adapt the agreed policy content to your activities, service users, leadership and working arrangements.

02 / AGREED SUPPORT

A practical compliance library

Provide the selected portal library of policies, procedures, forms and audits appropriate to your service.

03 / AGREED SUPPORT

Ongoing policy updates

Provide access to ongoing policy updates through the agreed subscription, with amendments within the agreed scope.

04 / AGREED SUPPORT

A clear implementation handover

Review the agreed documents with you and identify the approvals, staff communication and local implementation you need to own.

The social care index below is an example of the available library, not a promise that every document is required or included for every clinic or provider. We confirm your relevant library before you subscribe.

YOUR OPERATIONAL POLICY LIBRARY

Which policies help you
run your service?

236policies & supporting documents
12 categories

Explore our social care policy index by category. Select a category to see its documents; select it again to close the list.

When should you arrange your operational policies?

Arrange your operational policies well before your CQC interview, so you and your Registered Manager have time to read the relevant documents, familiarise yourselves with them and understand how they apply to your service.

Registration includes your initial CQC registration policies. The separate Policy Management Portal subscription provides access to the wider operational library and ongoing updates. You can also arrange suitable operational policies elsewhere.
