UNDERSTAND THE REQUIREMENTS

2.What does CQC require
for your homecare registration?

Your application, documents and evidence need to describe the same proposed service. The checklist depends on your activities, service users and application type.

Applications & service description

Provider and applicable Registered Manager applications, together with a Statement of Purpose.

Initial registration policies

The relevant policies explaining how your agency will operate safely and be managed.

Homecare supporting evidence

A business plan and forecast, legal occupancy evidence, service user guides, staff training plan and the additional personal care form.

People & specialist needs

Relevant manager and applicant evidence, plus additional documents where your intended service or client group requires them.

Which initial policies and additional evidence should I consider?

The named policy list and additional documents are set out in the service mapping below. View the policy and document lists ↓

Some documents must accompany your application; others should be ready if CQC requests them. Your application manager identifies the relevant checklist. This page covers homecare personal care; other service types and regulated activities need their own applicable lists.

and handle for you?

Initial registration policies

Prepare these initial policies around your domiciliary care model:

  • Complaints policy
  • Consent policy and procedure
  • Equality, diversity and human rights policy
  • Governance and quality assurance policies
  • Infection prevention and control policy
  • Medicines management and prescribing policy (including transportation of patient medication)
  • Recruitment policy
  • Safeguarding policy and procedure
Specialist homecare: autism and learning disability

Where your service specialises in supporting autistic people and people with a learning disability, CQC additionally lists:

  • Positive behaviour support policy
  • Restraint policy

The relevant specialist additional application form is also needed. Your service model determines applicability; confirm the document scope with your application manager.

Additional Documents CQC may ask you to send

For homecare personal-care applications, keep these ready for a request during assessment:

  • List of risk assessments
  • Person centred care planning policy (PCCPP)

Why work with 360Compliance?

Your documents are prepared around your care model, your manager coordinates the work, and your scope distinguishes what we prepare from the information you supply. Suitable work you already have can be discussed before choosing extras.

YOUR PART IN THE PROCESS

4.What do you need
to provide?

Business & service details

Legal entity and contact details, your operating address, proposed care model, intended service users and management roles.

Registered Manager information

An up-to-date CV, employment history, relevant qualifications and applicable DBS evidence.

Existing documents & source evidence

Your existing business plan or policies, and relevant premises, insurance or other evidence identified in your checklist.

Your review & decisions

Complete the services form, respond to clarification requests and check and approve drafts so we can finalise accurate documents.

Your manager explains the relevant evidence and agreed secure channel. Obtain the checks and documents applicable to your circumstances; not every applicant needs the same evidence.

What should I know about policies and ongoing support?

The policy service is a separate subscription alongside your one-off preparation fee. Initial CQC registration policies are included in Registration, even without a portal subscription. Complete has a 12-month minimum term and Ultimate a 24-month minimum term. Both continue monthly at the same rate after that term until cancelled. Confirm portal access, update arrangements, cancellation notice and access after cancellation in your written agreement before payment.

Every registration package includes WhatsApp support, a dedicated application manager, video consultation anytime, responses to all CQC queries and an end-to-end registration service. The ongoing operational policy subscription and optional interview Q&A with a preparatory call remain separately selectable.

When should you arrange your operational policies?

Arrange your operational policies well before your CQC interview, so you and your Registered Manager have time to read the relevant documents, familiarise yourselves with them and understand how they apply to your service.

Registration includes your initial CQC registration policies. The separate Policy Management Portal subscription provides access to the wider operational library and ongoing updates. You can also arrange suitable operational policies elsewhere.

Package review is available now. Online payment and appointment booking await their account connections and testing. You can speak to us on WhatsApp today.

What else would you like to know?

Must I buy the business plan and operational policies from you?

No. You can use suitable existing documents or arrange the services elsewhere. Application requirements still apply. Initial registration policies are included in Registration.

Is the policy subscription the same as my initial registration policies?

No. The subscription supplies the wider operational library, ongoing portal access and updates. Arrange relevant operational policies before your interview so your manager can familiarise themselves with them.

What happens after the subscription minimum term?

Complete has a 12-month minimum term and Ultimate a 24-month minimum term. Both continue monthly at the same rate after that term until cancelled. Rates and first-month fees are shown with each package.

Do video consultations include the interview preparation service?

General video consultations are included with registration. Interview Q&A and the Video Preparatory Call are a separate service, included in Ultimate or selected additionally.

Does your preparation service guarantee registration?

CQC makes the registration decision. Our support covers your agreed preparation and CQC-query support, rather than a guaranteed outcome.
